Artwork on Display Through January
The tasting room features works from local artists. The art will be rotated periodically throughout the year.

We are currently featuring the works of Suzanne Shaw.
Suzanne Shaw is a watercolor painter and an urban sketcher. She won her first artistic prize in kindergarten with a drawing of a colorful butterfly and hasn't stopped drawing and coloring since. Although her professional background is in accounting, she finished three years of arts education at Vancouver Community College, where she first discovered her true love of watercolor and developed a personal style. At the 2008 Woodinville Art Show, her painting "Sound of Music" won an Honorable Mention. Suzanne is a member of Northwest Watercolor Society, Urban Sketchers Seattle and Woodinville Arts Alliance. Born in Taiwan, Suzanne lived in Singapore for 17 years before settling down in the US in 1993. Currently, she resides in Woodinville, Washington.
In my earlier years of painting, I read books on artists I admired and explored their worlds. They include Winslow Homer, John Sargent, Andrew Wyeth and Zoltan Szabo - all watercolor painters who inspired and nourished me greatly. I am attracted to watercolor for its unique qualities that enable me to paint freely and expressively. My painting subjects are limitless; I paint whatever touches me or whenever the urge to express myself occurs. Many of my paintings are inspired by beautiful Pacific Northwest landscapes. My joy of gardening helps me to capture the delicacy and beauty of florals. I find painting humankind fascinating, too. Capturing a moment in a sketch is both joyful and powerful; many sketches even develop into expressive paintings. I carry a sketchbook everywhere because creating art is my language without words. I hope my works speak to viewers in the same way that they touch my soul. Watercolor and my love of painting continue to lead me toward further adventures.

"Let's face it I love cheese! I love to eat it. I love to talk about it. Most of all, I love the look on peoples faces when they taste an amazing cheese. You know what I mean - your eye's close, a smile spreads across your face and totally right there, in the moment experiencing the magic of cheese. Listening to the story it tells you of the pasture the animals were feeding in, the farmer who milked them, the care of the cheesemakers and secret action of the cultures."
I bring the Roving Cheese Shop out to shops with an ever-changing selection of cheeses based on the season and what's inspiring me at the moment." Alison Leber
